Case StudiesBulletLondon (bulletlondon.bbtwist.com) Objective: Develop a dynamic website with loading sequence and interactive client gallery. Site will be Flash-based to add visual appeal and retain visitor interest. A parallel HTML version, for viewers without the Flash plug-in, should also be available. Within the gallery, client logos will hang on a 'virtual' wall which the user 'walks' along using their mouse. Footstep sound effects will accompany the movement. The HTML version will display a static wall of logos for the viewer to select from. Clicking a logo within either gallery will open that client's section. Solution: A Flash-based website was designed. Interactive elements include a tin can game and many 'shootable' objects within the 3D gallery. (An HTML version of the site opens automatically for viewers without the Flash plug-in.) A secure backend area allows BulletLondon staff to update specified text and graphics within the gallery at any time. Up to six categories can be defined for each client; each category has one image and one area of text. Results: Following the successful launch of their website, BulletLondon have grown to a 10 person company, and have expanded their offering to include a complete in-house marketing service, in addition to the design and artwork services already available. Referrals from the website have led to winning several new accounts, and client retention has stayed at a steady 90% since the launch of the website.
